THECHALLENGE

StarHealth wanted trendy design and intuitive UX to create a seamless mobile app that breaks from the standard Insurance designs.

doodleblue was approached to modernize StarHealth's app and portal for customers and agents, while also establishing a new brand image that makes it friendly and approachable.

GATHERING

Comprehensive study on Star health's business objectives, services and requirements objective, in addition to understanding goals and purpose of the customer & agent, application and portal.

INFORMATION
ARCHITECTURE

Structured the portal and app to create an outline of the information to make it simple and intuitive to navigate, which also allowed scalability.

STRATEGY

We built a result-oriented development strategy that focused on two key areas - retaining existing customers with user-friendly app design, and engaging new customers with innovative features in the app.

THESOLUTION

CUSTOMER APP & PORTAL

Our UI/UX designers analyzed the existing customer app & portal, researched on user personas, which formed the basis on the creation of the structure, wireframes and user flowchart.

We updated the UI to the current trend to make it aesthetic and welcoming for customers. To build a seamless mobile app, we used programming languages like Kotlin and Swift for Android and IOS platforms respectively. We used technologies like react js and tools like crashlytics to build the portal.

FEATURES

We enhanced the UI and defined a UX strategy of the following features in collaboration with the client.

Timely update on insurance coverage to keep customers informed on their insurance plan. Health and wellness tips to keep customers engaged to the app. Access to complete list of network hospitals to let users easily identify Star Health supported hospitals.

AGENT APP & PORTAL

We updated agents' app with key features like agent daily tracking, agent office suite on the move and lead on boarding workflow.

Agents portal was built to help them access the platform from their desktops with vital features like premium calculator, notes, status of appointments, policy guide etc, contributing to an increase in productivity.
